We are 6 months into our lease and still loving every minute of it. The management and maintenance is friendly and helpful. Our apartment is everything we need. The price is reasonable compared to other apartments in this CrAzY market. We will stay here until we buy a home. Highly recommend living here.

response from property -Thank you Arron

The apartment was recently updated with new appliances in the kitchen before we moved in so that was a plus The apartment has a great layout Very nice to have when guests come over for game nights. The grounds are well maintained. Something we would like to see A New Fitness Center or updated Fitness Equipment. All of the equipment in the fitness is very outdated. Would be awesome to see some new equipment added or replaced . One idea would be to change the Racquetball Court into a Fitness Center room since nobody really uses the court. Both sauna and Jacuzzi are a great amenity to have especially in the winter.
response from property -Thank you Luke

submitted by Kate - |Recommended: YesGreat location for an affordable price — I moved to Tacoma a few years ago and found this property a few weeks after moving here and I love it. I love my one bedroom apartment, it's open an spacious and I love the updated windows. I absolutely love spa - it's indoors so I can use it regardless of the weather my daughter on the other hand loves the playground. University Glen is right in the middle of University Place so everything is near by - Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Starbucks, the library, etc. I'm very happy with my apartment and would recommend it to anyone.
response from property -Thank you Kate!

Our neighbor has lived here almost 10 years You have all amenities within walking distance including the library, Police and Fire Departments. Using a wheelchair, I appreciate the accessible community that UP has developed with sidewalks that extend to every store I need. Our apartment, in particular, gets a lot of shade which creates mold, so you do have to stay on top of that.
response from property -Thank you Tahisha!

When I first moved to University Glen, I was looking for a one bedroom and almost everywhere I went, no one had any available. Finding this place was like finding home. It was spacious and had everything I needed although, I wish there were more cover for the patio occasionally, but hey we live in Washington. who doesn't get used to the rain And now, even more recently as I just transferred to a two bedroom, she has been extremely helpful and on top of making sure I have all the information I need, as well as giving me time to get everything settled in. The maintenance here is always timely, and I have never had a problem that didn't get solved. It is really wonderful having this place to call home.
response from property -Thank you Lindsi!
submitted by Jeanine - |Recommended: YesQuiet, comfortable, clean, and convenient — I have lived in a 1 bedroom apartment here for over 4 years. It is not just a place to live University Glen is a place to call home. I have needed maintenance 2 or 3 times and they were here within minutes to two hours. The office staff is helpful and friendly. The 1 bedroom apts. are separated from the 2 bedroom apts., which makes the 1 bedrooms super quiet, which I find wonderful. It is a safe place to live, and is walking distance to a large park I forget the name of the park , Whole Foods, the University Place Library Complex, and if you can walk half a mile or so, there is Safeway, Mud Bay pet store, Big Lots, Trader Joe's, etc. I choose to ride the bus and this is about a 5-7 minute walk to the bus stop. If you own a car, each apartment is assigned a parking space. There is a gym, a racquetball court, and a sauna located in the complex. They are pet friendly. They have installed energy efficient windows as of 2-3 years ago. I really do enjoy calling University Glen home.
response from property -Thank you Jeanine!

University Glen is so much more than just a place to live it is a place to call home. In the rare case you need maintenance they don't make you wait. The office staff are friendly and helpful. There are two grocery stores in walking distance, Whole Foods and Safeway, along with the library. It is very quiet here, especially because they built the 2 bedroom apts. across from the 1 bed room apts. I rent a 1 bedroom and it came with a stacked washer dryer, a large fireplace, a separate dining area, garbage disposal, dishwasher, and a huge balcony. They have also put in energy efficient windows and resurfaced the parking area. You are assigned your own parking space, and there are parking spaces for visitors, They also have a gym, racquetball court, and sauna. This is the best apartment complex I have ever lived in.
submitted by Donna K. - |Recommended: YesNice area, close to shopping parks — The only complaint I have is that there is no outside storage like most other apartments have and with the exception of a few weeks in the summer, it is impossible to use the patio as there are no covers and the decking is open anything left on the patio gets wet with the rain.
response from property -Thank you Donna. Have you considered one of the nearby storage facilities. For the price in University Place, you can't beat the value.
